"Deacon" David Phillips, the founder of ABATE of California reminded us all at the ABATE Local 25 Chili and Choppers Cook-off that we better start paying attention to POLITICS. If we don't there are people in office who think that bikes are dangereous and maybe laws should be passed that would make it illegal. Sound far-fetched - check out the manufacturing of three wheelers. Oh Yeah, they are not manufactured anymore. Against the law. So to get political, all you have to do once in a while is send a short note to some official. Maybe start with the Transportation Committee members listed in "Did You Know" in the Rider Informatin Tab of Biker Information Guide. Just send them a note to remind them a lot of bikers wore a military helmet so they could have the freedom to choose here in America.

Camp

We need a campaign to get cars to slow down, especially in the rain.  An also, lets try to figure out a way to get our teens to race at the race tracks, like Sacramento Raceway, instead of the local streets.
